On a Cold Sunday Afternoon, the National Palace Museum
It was another SSAT weekend for me, but while I was up in Taipei I was reminded to go and pay the National Palace Museum a visit. The New York Times featured it a few weeks ago. The National Palace Museum is considered to be among the finest museums in the world, and it's making headlines now because it just re-opened after years of renovation. To celebrate its recent relaunch, the museum is showing off an unprecedented exhibit of historical Chinese artifacts.

Wow, was it cold today! A "balmy" 57º here in Taiwan. I wasn't prepared for that. Anyhow, from what I hear, the good ol' northeast quandrant of the U.S. has me beat temperature-wise. Good for you guys.

It was surprising when I heared that the Museum is the most fantastic ones in the world.
Whatever, I hope you will enjoy today.
And please remerber to learn some Chinese characters or simple Chinese expression as soon as possible, that would really help you a lot.
Have a nice year~~
Hey thanks Sandy. I'm gonna try to learn some Chinese characters and expressions ... but I know it's not gonna be easy. :-)
When there is a will, there is a way. As long as you make up your mind to learn it, you will find out Chinese is not so difficult as you might think. So just start right now! Go! Go! Go! :)
The fish are beautiful!
One fish is beautiful. But when they're all on top of each other, they don't look so great. Right CK? I mean remember those nets full of minnows at Wilbur Point?
I laughed out loud with that one. Ya, I can see how it wouldn't be so great. :)
Oh, and I wanted to add that I throughly enjoy your chosen quotes. I read them weekly.
That RFK speech is one of my favorites, but it's actually longer than what you see there.
